1 Account Types

Key to Markets provides two account types; PRO account and Standard Account. Both accounts have ECN execution with different commission structures.

Key to Markets PRO Account

The PRO account gives traders access to the most competitive spreads on the market. This account requires a commission payment in addition to the spread, which is €6 or $8 per traded lot round turn (€3/$4 when opening, €3/$4 when closing).

The commission is proportional to the volume of the trade; a mini-lot trade (0.10 volume) will incur an additional charge of €0.60 or $0.80 while a micro-lot trade (0.01 volume) comes with a commission of €0.06 or $0.08 and so forth. This PRO account is preferred by high frequency traders who trade on short timeframes including scalpers or simply traders who prefer raw spreads and a commission instead of only a wider spread.
